Presenter Bio

João Noroña is the Director of Research and Product Development at Paramount Die Company, where he has worked for the past six years.

He started his career at DeWalt Power Tools in its Technical Leadership Development Program where he was part of the launch of several new power tools and eventually became technical manager for chuck technology. Later he worked at ESAB Cutting and Welding as a strategic project manager.

The focus of his career has been to bring innovation to the market, find new technologies to integrate into existing products, and change the way "things have always been done" through technical discipline and a thorough understanding of customer requirements.

João is from Mexico and holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and an MBA degree from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on Product Development and bringing new technologies to market.
