Erika Akins is a Chief Applications Engineer at Southwire who has been with the company for 9 years. She joined Southwire in 2011 as a product engineer for medium and high voltages cables at the Heflin Plant. In her current role, she focuses primarily on OEM and Utility products and applications providing technical support to end-users.  She holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.
